UPDATED: Three sought after robbing victim of cellphone in Tacoma

UPDATED at 12:50 p.m. Friday

Tacoma police are searching for three people who robbed a citizen at gunpoint Wednesday night.

The robbery occurred just after 11:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Tacoma Avenue.

The three suspects approached the victim, police reported. One of the suspects had a gun.

The suspects took the victim’s cellphone and left.

The victim was not injured. No arrests have been reported.

Police did not release any description of the robbers.
