UPDATE: Washington State Department of Transportation reports the collision is cleared but to expect some time before back-up eases. Wind blew mobile home over.

PREVIOUS POST: A collision on the westbound span of the Narrows bridge is blocking two lanes, and traffic is quickly backing up.

At least one of the vehicles involved was towing a mobile home.

What an idiot! I came across the Narrows about 2:30 pm and saw this guy pulled over on 16 near 6th/Pearl exit. WSP was there also. It was super windy on the Narrows when I came over and all I could think was I hope this guy isn’t going to try to cross the Narrows. Yup, he did it anyhow and look what happened. Thanks dude! Took me until 6:30 to get back home. If it says severe winds on Narrows, they’re not kidding!

I talked to a guy who crosses the bridge fault. He said that the wind warning lights are almost always on. Gotta try crossing when the WSP says it us low warning.
