A Tacoma man went out to his vehicle this morning and discovered $200,000 worth spinal implant hardware had been stolen.

The car was parked in the 2100 block of North Prospect Street. The man went outside about 10 a.m. He found the vehicle had been broken into and the equipment stolen, police spokesman Naveed Benjamin said.

Benjamin asked anyone who spotted the equipment to call the Tacoma Police Department.

“It’s pretty specific items,” he said.
