Snow has dusted the South Sound overnight but few problems have been reported because of the flakes.

There are no school delays as of 5:30 a.m. in Pierce or Thurston counties. (More snow appears to have fallen to the north, causing school delays in Snohomish County and other areas.)

The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a winter weather advisory for the Puget Sound area this morning. The advisory warns of the possibility of snow until 10 a.m.

Drivers can expect slushy and slippery roads until mid-morning.

Of course school is on! As a CO person from age 7 to 18, do not be wimpy, Tacoma!
