Authorities today released the procession routes for Thursday’s memorial service in honor of Washington State Patrol trooper Tony Radulescu, who was fatally shot last week during a traffic stop.

Troopers will lead the procession, which will start at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at Kitsap Mall in Silverdale, go down state Route 3 and wind through Port Orchard, where Radulescu lived.

The procession will continue on eastbound state Route 16 to Interstate 5 and south to state Route 512, where they will pick up more law enforcement vehicles just off 112th Street on Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Radulescu’s family will leave Mountain View Funeral Home on Steilacoom Boulevard in Lakewood about 10:30 a.m. and meet up with the procession at JBLM before ending at the ShoWare Center in Kent at 11:15 a.m.

Here’s the route that goes through Pierce County:

  • Leave Mountain View Funeral Home onto Steilacoom Boulevard.
  • Right on South Tacoma Way
  • Left on SR 512 East
  • To SR 167 North
  • Exit onto SR 516 to West Willis Street
  • Left onto 4th Ave. south
