Friends and family members are asking for the public’s help in locating a 21-year-old Parkland woman who has not been seen in more than a year.

Ruthie Fawn Kindness disappeared in February 2011. She was last known to be living in Parkland around Pacific Avenue South and 126th Street South, according to a Facebook page titled “Where’s Ruthie?”

Kindness also spent time in Puyallup, Milton and Federal Way.

She is described as Native American with brown hair and brown eyes. She is about 5 feet 4 and 110 pounds.

Anyone with information on Kindness’ whereabouts is asked to call the Auburn Police Department at 253-931-3080.

  1. So why is is just now we hear about this? Is it that she is Native? YOUTUBE the Documentary “The Canary Effect”. This affects all minorities.

she probably is long gone unfortunately. why is it just now that we hear about this rod.I think someone like the family isn’t giving up hope on her.Its a shame that beautiful girl like her is missing. I pray for her and her family!

You are just now hearing about this because the Pierce County Sheriff’s office still refuses to take this case. It’s not the first time they rejected a case, once a few years ago we told them about a case, they did take it but would not believe the person was dead as we tried very hard to tell them. A utility worker found that persons body. He was killed by his own room mate… Ruthie’s case was only taken by Auburn because of a wonderful detective.

  4. GeronimoV says:

God willing, she will be found safe and soon.

  5. I hope her family keeps up the pressure to find her. God Bless all.

  6. serendipity says:

Who would not want to be missing from Parkland? All sarcasm aside, she is a beautiful young woman and I hope she is okay wherever she went.
