Tacoma police are searching for a 25-year-old woman who has not been seen since Feb. 8.

Yelena Plotnikova’s family last saw her near the 5700 block of East G Street. She left home on foot and does not have a vehicle or cell phone.

Plotnikova has gone missing three times in the past. She has not been found at any local hospitals.

Police are concerned about her safety because she has mental health issues and has made suicidal comments in the past, officer Naveed Benjamin said.

Plotnikova is described as 5 feet 7, 175 pounds and wearing a red jacket and black jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or contact detective Lindsey Wade at 253-591-5993 or lwade@cityoftacoma.org.
