A 74-year-old woman with dementia who was missing in Milton last week was found dead.

King County Public Works employees found Oksoon Mulligan’s body Thursday afternoon near the intersection of South 360th Street and 28th Avenue South. The body was along a dirt road in the area of an old landfill, the Milton Police Department reported.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office conducting an autopsy on Mulligan last week. Her cause and manner of death are pending further tests.

Mulligan was last spotted the day before by a barista in the Safeway at 900 E. Meridian, Milton police reported. She left the store and hasn’t been seen since.

Milton police launched a search for Mulligan. A police dog tried to track her but didn’t find her.
