Puyallup police are searching for two men suspected of robbing a Taco Del Mar on Saturday evening.

Two back males with hoodies on entered the restaurant on the 3800 block of South Meridian shortly after 5 p.m. After one man displayed a gun, they ordered the two employees to open the till and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, said Puyallup police Sgt. Ryan Portmann. No one else was in the restaurant.

A K9 officer tracked the men to the YMCA a half-mile to the south before losing their trail, Portmann said.

More than a half-dozen officers responded to the call. Police continue their search.

The men were described as being in their late teens or early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall with average builds.
