UPDATED at 10:35 a.m.

Tacoma Public Utilities crews believe they have fixed a broken water main that feeds about 30 homes around North Pearl and North 50th streets.

Crews say the water looks good. They are asking residents to run their faucets to see how the water looks.

“If still discolored, try again soon,” the utility said this morning.

The utility reported the break in the water main occurred just after 9 p.m. and is affecting about 30 households, the utility said.

Residents reported low water pressure and brown water.

Affected customers are asked to call 253-502-8384 to report problems.

The work closed Pearl Street.

There’s more money they won’t be able to spend on some new museums or other circus acts.

  2. “There’s more money they won’t be able to spend on some new museums or other circus acts.”

The utilities have their own funding source and budget. But nice rant.
