Snow has been falling off and on throughout the South Sound this morning.

Many side roads continue to be covered with compact snow and ice.

The inclement weather was causing several spin outs and non-injury accidents in Thurston County, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Police dispatchers in parts of Pierce County report few problems because of the weather.
