Firefighters working to rescue man hurt on ship moored at Port of Tacoma

UPDATE: Firefighters have pulled an injured man from the hold of a fishing vessel at the Port of Tacoma. He’s on his way to the hospital and is expected to survive.

PREVIOUS POST: Firefighters are working to rescue a man who’s been hurt aboard a cargo ship moored at the Port of Tacoma, a department spokesman said.

The extent of the man’s injuries are not known at this time.
