The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a 25-year-old man who was found dead early this morning in a South Hill home.

Nicholas Looney’s roommate went to a neighbor’s house just before 3:30 a.m. and reported the shooting, which took place at a home in the 14600 block of 117th Avenue Court East.

No suspect has been identified.

Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said the slaying may be drug-related because deputies found weapons and evidence of drug use and a marijuana grow.
