Lakewood police are searching for the vandals who shattered windows and caused extensive damage at Lochburn Middle School on Sunday.

The Police Department reports that several, large cafeteria windows at the school, 5431 Steilacoom Blvd., were broken with rocks or a pellet rifle. The damage was estimated to be in the thousands of dollars.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call Lakewood Police at 253-830-5064 or Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.

Crime Stoppers offers up to $1,000 for information leading to arrests and charges filed in crimes. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
