The flags at all state agency buildings will be lowered today in memory of an Enumclaw soldier who was killed in Afghanistan earlier this month.
Staff Sgt. Nathan L. Wyrick, 34, died Oct. 10 after he was struck by small arms fire.
Wyrick, who graduated from Franklin Pierce High School, was a supply specialist. He joined the Army in March 2006.
Gov. Chris Gregoire has ordered flags to remain at half-staff until the end of today or first thing Thursday.
