Puyallup police are searching for several men who donned masks and wielded machetes during a home-invasion robbery Tuesday night.
Officers were called to a house in the 300 block of Fourth Street Northeast just after 9:15 p.m. Tuesday. The caller reported several men were in the home and were threatening the occupants., police reported.
The robbers stole a firearm, then left the house as officers arrived in the area. No one was injured.
A police dog found evidence in the neighborhood but not the suspects, police reported.
Investigators suspect the home and its occupants were targeted.
The Police Department did not release any descriptions of the suspects.
