Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers has launched a new website and Facebook page to showcase unsolved crimes that investigators need the public’s help to solve.

The non-profit organization offers cash rewards for information that leads to arrests and charges files in crimes – including bank heists, sexual assaults, convenience store robberies and homicides – throughout Pierce County.

Crime Stoppers’ new website and Facebook page feature ongoing high-profile cases, unsolved bank robberies and wanted fugitives.

They also spotlight homicides where no arrests have been made. That includes Saturday’s slaying of 17-year-old Billy Shirley III, who was shot and killed as he left a large party in a warehouse-type building in the 1600 block of South Center Street in Tacoma.

The website also features cases that have been solved.

Anyone with information on the cases can either call Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959 or leave a tip on the organization’s website. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
