Kent police need the public’s help in identifying a gunman who fatally shot a 27-year-old man outside his home Friday evening.
Investigators have talked to witnesses and looked into Arnulfo Gomez-Vazquez’s background to see why he was killed.
So far, they’ve found no motive, a Kent police press release states.
“Mr. Gomez-Vazquez was a hard working man who appears to have been targeted for some unknown reason,” Kent police Lt. Pat Lowery stated in the press release. “We are committed to identifying the person responsible for his death and providing some answers to the victim’s family and friends.”
Gomez-Vazquez was shot at the Somerset Apartments, 10900 S.E. 255th Place, on the city’s East Hill.
The department has no suspects or significant leads.
