A crew clearing brush on Kent’s East Hill discovered human remains about 11 a.m. today, Kent police reported.

The crew was working in the  24100 block of 114th Avenue Southeast when it found the skeletal remains.

Detectives and other city workers are searching the area for evidence, police said.

”At this time we are still evaluating the circumstances of this discovery,” Lt. Pat Lowery said. “There is nothing readily evident to tell us what happened.”
