Lakewood police are looking for a man who burglarized a church office earlier this month during a Sunday service.

The burglar entered the Little Church on the Prairie at 6310 Motor Avenue Southwest and stole cash from a purse, as well a satchel containing a computer and cell phone.

A surveillance camera caught the burglar taking the items as he pulled a hood over his head.

The burglary occurred the morning of May 15.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, 5 feet 8 and 170 pounds with a medium build and short blond hair. He was wearing light pants and a black jacket with purple lining and a white stripe across the back.

Anyone with information on the incident can call Lakewood police at 253-830-5000. Anonymous tipsters can call Tacoma-Pierce County Crimestoppers at 253-591-5959.
