The driver of a pickup truck was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving early today after crashing into the front of a warehouse in Kent.

The driver suffered a minor hand injury, the Kent Fire Department reported.

The crash occurred about 2:20 a.m. Kent officers went to the warehouse in the 22000 block of 72nd Avenue South to check out a burglary alarm.

They found the pickup truck had driven through the office area of the building and was trying to back out, the Fire Department reported.

The truck stopped and the driver was arrested.

A City of Kent building official evaluated the damage to the building and deemed it safe.
