Tacoma police arrested two men Monday after they allegedly robbed a South End cellphone store.

One of the suspects entered the Sprint Wireless store at 7925 S. Hosmer St. just before 2:30 p.m. Monday. He wielded a gun and stole cash and phones. Meanwhile, the other suspect kept watch at the door, Tacoma police reported.

After the robbery, the suspects got into a pickup truck and left. A witness followed the vehicle and provided information to police, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.

Tacoma police and Pierce County sheriff’s deputies stopped the truck in the Parkland area and arrested the suspects, police reported. Both men were booked into Pierce County Jail on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
