Seattle police today released a photo of a man charged last week with raping and torturing a 24-year-old prostitute to encourage other possible victims to come forward.

John Joseph Hauff Jr., 66, has been charged with first-degree kidnapping, first-degree rape and second-degree assault for the April 2 incident at his Northeast Tacoma mobile home.

Police say he picked the woman up in Seattle and brought her back to his home, where he had a “bondage room.”

Here’s the previous story.

“Detectives are hoping that anyone who may have been victimized by this suspect or recognizes the building or car depicted here will contact the Seattle Police Department’s tipline at (206) 233-5000,” the Seattle Police Department said on its blog.
