This just in from Lakewood PD’s Lt. Chris Lawler:

Maalo Samaota was taken into custody this afternoon by the U.S. Marshalls in the Portland Oregon area.  He is currently in custody on our murder warrant in the Multnomah County Jail.  Lakewood Homicide Detectives have traveled down there to question him about the homicide.  The extradition process will be started next week.

Samaota is charged with aggravated first-degree murder in the homicide of an unidentified man whose torture was video-recorded. He later was killed and his body dumped near Harts Lake in eastern Pierce County.
