Two people were injured early today when their car veered off state Route 410 just outside of Buckley and hit a guardrail, the Washington State Patrol reported.

A 21-year-old Enumclaw man was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw. The 20-year-old Buckley woman in the passenger seat was transported to Harborview Medical Center. Their conditions were not known this morning.

The man was driving a Chevrolet Camaro eastbound on state Route 410 when he hit the guardrail near 244th Avenue Southeast just after 12:45 a.m., troopers reported.

The car rotated and stopped on the westbound shoulder. The Camaro was totaled and impounded as evidence, troopers reported.

Troopers were investigating the cause of the crash.
