House fire in NE Tacoma displaces family of three

A family of three was displaced after a fire at their house spread from a bathroom to the attic, causing significant damage.

The blaze at a two-story home in the 3800 block of 47th Avenue Northeast was reported about 4 p.m.

Seven companies from Tacoma Fire responded, as well as an engine from Federal Way.

No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
