Average gasoline prices in Tacoma have increased 7.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.36 per gallon as of Sunday, according to TacomaGasPrice.com.
That compares with the national average that has risen 4.1 cents per gallon in the same time frame to $3.16 per gallon.
Gas prices on Sunday in Tacoma were 55.5 cents higher than they were on the same day a year ago and 12.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
What does the price of gas have to do with lights and sirens?
