Bonney Lake police said two men were seriously injured today after fighting over a Samurai sword.

Officers were called about 1:20 p.m. to a home in the 9600 block of 208th Avenue East and found a man sitting outside his house covered in blood.

The other man was still inside and initially refused to come outside, though both men were eventually taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said one of the men pulled out a sword after “a property dispute.”

After both men suffered serious cuts on their bodies, the homeowner went across the street and asked a neighbor to call for help because he’d been attacked.

The investigation is ongoing.

Obviously we need some sword-control legislation.

  2. What, they didn’t have any nunchucks or throwing stars?

  3. There can be only one.

  4. What the… why are grown men at home during the middle of the day? Arguing over weapons…

Irm130- first off thanks for crawling out from under the rock in which you live, while you were away it seems a number of americans are unemployed so A LOT of people (men, women, children) are all at home during the now so that MAY be the case here but i dont know. Second, i do agree that arguing over weapons is not that bright but then again most people argue over smaller things like what way the TP should come off the roll (i like it over the top but thats just me). Now that you have gotten the latest news you are free to go hide again.
