Gasoline prices in Tacoma drop 1.1 cents, up over last year

Average retail gasoline prices in Tacoma have fallen 1.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.22 per gallon Sunday.

This compares with the national average that has fallen 0.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.08 per gallon, according to gasoline price website TacomaGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Tacoma during the past week, prices yesterday were 40.7 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 7.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has increased 3.6 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 41.0 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
