A man who implied he had a gun robbed the cashier at the Denny’s Restaurant in Parkland early this morning.

Pierce County Sheriff spokesman Ed Troyer said the  a man with a hood from a sweatshirt covering his face  entered the restaurant at 10802 Pacific Ave. S.  about 3:15 a.m. and demanded money from the cashier. He didn’t display a weapon but implied he had one.

Troyer said the robber took the money and fled the restaurant. No one was hurt in the robbery.

A K9 unit was brought in to try and track the man but no trail was found, he said.

Troyer described the man as in his 30s to 40s and with bushy eyebrows.
