Tacoma police today are investigating a shooting in the city’s North End.

A man told officers that he was shot in the left forearm about 2:40 p.m. while driving to a gas station near North 26th Street and North Stevens Street.

A description of the two suspects was not immediately available.

“It was possibly a robbery attempt,” said police spokesman Mark Fulghum.
