Tacoma police arrested a man late Monday on suspicion of breaking into a downtown bank.
The silent motion alarm was activated at the US Bank, 2317 Pacific Ave., police said. When security officers called inside, a man answered the phone.
“I broke into your bank,” he said.
Tacoma police officers were called and responded. They found the front window broken and a man lying on the floor inside.
The man was taken into custody without incident, police said.
