The public is invited to a Moment of Blessing Friday morning for Sokun Phorn, a 27-year-old Tacoma man who was shot to death Monday on a South End street.
The 10 a.m. ceremony will be held at the corner of South 57th Street and South Park Avenue, where police say Phorn was shot while arguing with a man over money.
No arrests have been made.
Associated Ministries hosts the Moment of Blessing ceremonies at locations in Pierce County where homicides have happened. The ceremonies are meant to spiritually cleanse the spot where the crime occurred and offer support to the victim’s family, friends and neighbors.
