A four-alarm fire in a vacant south Seattle warehouse is causing some traffic problems on Interstate 5.

The State Patrol has closed two lanes of southbound I-5 at South Spokane Street, according to Twitter. Southbound drivers are backed up for four miles and northbound drivers are backed up for two miles.

The state Department of Transportation advises motorists to treat the smoke like fog.

“Reduce speed and use low-beam headlights,” DOT reported on Twitter.
