Great Job done by the DOT. I read the comments last night and how soon people forget that is how traffic use to back up nightly to get across the bridge. The people who complained last night would of been the first to remark if something happened if the repair wasnt taken care of. So it took your loved one a few hours to get home things happen. Its the driving habits of people not wanting to merge that cause these backups. I saw alot of I need to be that one car ahead last night. Dont blame the DOT I say great Job.

DOT is easy to blame mcnellis951. They usually do not do anything right, costing more money in the long run. Highway 16 used to flow freely until their “deconstruction project” came along. Now there are backups everyday, at nearly every time. One therefore can easily question the merits of closing a major freeway during pre-Labor Day rush hour traffic but only hope that repairs get done as quickly as possible.
