Undercover officers and various uniformed personnel will board public buses Tuesday to cut down on illegal and disruptive behavior.

The zero-tolerance enforcement program, “Not On Our Bus,” will last through Sept. 10 and is intended to improve the quality of life on bus routes, at transit centers and at bus stops near select high schools.

Pierce Transit and Tacoma police will conduct spot checks to ensure conduct codes are being followed. Violators may be excluded from Pierce Transit services for 90 days.

During last year’s enforcement program, law enforcement officers made 750 contacts and banned 68 people for disorderly behavior or criminal activity.

Here are the areas they’re emphasizing:

Pierce Transit Routes:
1, 2, 10, 11, 16, 42, 51, 53

Pierce Transit Facilities:
Lakewood Mall Transit Center
Tacoma Community College Transit Center
Tacoma Dome Station
Tacoma Mall Transit Center

Tacoma Public Schools:
Foss High School
Lincoln High School
Mt Tahoma High School
Oakland High School
Stadium High School
Wilson High School
