Pierce County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a 16-year-old who was reported missing by family members when she didn’t come home from her driving school lessons and her job earlier this week.
Family members last saw Candra Goggans on Monday morning. She’d stay overnight with family members at a family friend’s house after a Fourth of July celebration, the Sheriff’s Department reported.
On Monday morning, she was supposed to walk from the friend’s house to her family’s nearby home in the 800 block of 105th Street South in Parkland.
“Goggans was to take a bus from her house to her driver’s education classes that morning, then go to work in Lakewood afterward; Goggans did not arrive at her classes or work, and has not been seen or heard from since,” deputies reported.
The initial report Monday listed the girl as a possible runaway, said sheriff’s Sgt. Jerry Bates said. The mother called the Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, raising concerns.
At this point, there are no signs or allegations of foul play, Bates said. However, it’s not like Goggans to disappear.
“She’s a good student, hard worker,” Bates said. “It’s not like her to not show up for work.”
Detectives are investigating the teen’s disappearance and contacting friends and family members.
Goggans is described as black, 5 feet 5 and 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She has no history of running away from home.
She didn’t take any clothes with her. She left her purse and wallet at home, deputies reported.
Anyone who has seen Goggans or heard from her since Sunday is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department immediately.
Confusing article/
Did anyone see her in the morning?
When was the exact last time and place she was seen?
According to what I’m reading here, the l;ast time she was ACTUALLY SEEN was SUNDAY NIGHT. Is this correct? The entire statement,
“Family members last saw Candra Goggans on Monday morning. She’d stay overnight with family members at a family friend’s house after a Fourth of July celebration, the Sheriff’s Department reported.”
Makes little or no sence what so ever. Who SAW her MONDAY MORNING(?) An Aunt, sister, uncle, dad, brother, mother?
