Do you have any information on the car that drove through the rail and into the Sound next to the Pt. Defiance Ferry dock on Saturday/Sunday?

Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum provided the following information:

A 30-year-old man drove through the wooden rail and into the Sound. The crash took place about 11:15 p.m. Saturday between Anthony’s and the ferry loading dock. He got himself out of the vehicle and was on the rocks when Tacoma police officers arrived. Paramedics checked him out at the scene and transported him to a local hospital. Alcohol was suspected.

I bet that was something to see. I hope they bill him for the repair on the wooden rails on the dock.
