A South End grocery store was hit by an armed robber a little before 10 p.m.

The robbery took place at Park Avenue Foods, 7214 Park Ave., according to scanner chatter. The caller described the bandit as a white male in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches with a medium build, wearing a blue bandanna over his face, a gray hoodie and blue jeans.

Anybody reading this article please read about the two gang members shooting at each other in the South End, very very close to the same location and definitely the same description of the perp. Watch your streets for these gang members, aparently grey hoodies now are a sign.

Unfortunately,a gray hoodie is almost a uniform in So. and E. Tacoma. What I don`t understand is the people that drive around wearing a hoody that have restricted periferal vision. These people often make lane changes too close to cars already in an adjacent lane or enter traffic without leaving enough space.I would like to know why they do this. They look and drive like fools.
