Backup on I-5 in Tacoma after crash in northbound lanes

Traffic is backed up for two miles in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 after a crash this afternoon.

The crash occurred just after 1 p.m. at the 72nd Street overpass. It initially blocked the left two lanes, the state DOT reports.

The crash was cleared at 1:35 p.m.
