The two arrived on foot just after midnight and were allowed inside. Several people inside the house went into an attached garage.
Within seconds, the witness reported hearing four to five gunshots. Ortiz and Toleafoa then left the house, charging documents state.
The witness picked Ortiz and Toleafoa out of photo montages.
Witnesses reported that the two suspects went to the North Visscher Street home about three weeks ago. They were looking for the man killed early Wednesday but he was not home at the time.
Charging documents indicate Toleafoa might have stole marijuana and a week later the homicide victim and two suspects got into a fight.
The investigation was continuing.
