The two men charged in the Edgewood slaying waived extradition today during appearances in a California courtroom.

Kiyoshi Higashi and Joshua Reese both appeared without attorneys. They are being held in San Mateo County without bail, the San Mateo County Court reported.

Pierce County prosecutors have charged each man with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery and second-degree assault in connection with the deadly April 28 home-invasion robbery in Edgewood.
