Tacoma police are investigating the death of a 65-year-old woman who was found Wednesday in her East Side home.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet released the woman’s name or cause of death.
Investigators have not released any other information about the circumstances of the woman’s death or the location of her home.
The woman’s death is being investigated as a possible homicide.
Pierce County sheriff’s detectives investigating the deadly home invasion-robbery in Edgewood are talking with Lake Stevens investigators about a similar-styled home-invasion robbery Sunday.

A 43-year-old man is dead after four robbers invaded his Edgewood home Wednesday night.
Deputies responded around 9:30 p.m. to a report of a residential robbery on the 3600 block of 106th Avenue Ct. E. They arrived to find an unconscious man with a gunshot wound, according to Pierce County Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer. The man died at the scene.
Four people were at home at the time of the robbery–the man, his wife, and their two son, Troyer said.
