What is the chance that someone slowed down for that ridiculous traffic camera by the Indian Cemetery ?
If not, it will cause a deadly accident some day.

Except it didn’t happen at the bay view curve, it happened over by Pioneer. That’s a few miles away.

Over 100 accidents on the Bay Street curve last year, mostly caused by excessive speed. Reducing that number is the purpose of the camera, Guarantee: drive the speed limit and you will not be ticketed. This accident happened at an intersection NOT enforced by a camera.

It happened just south of the split on river road. About 100 yards past the split. There was a red mid sized truck that was going southbound and was in the northbound middle lane that must have been involved. I went down pioneer but could see the truck and a state trooper closing that lane when stopped at the light waiting at about 1:40.

It was the other side of the light from the Tacoma cash cow camera…
