A man suspected of robbing a pharmacy in Centralia last year was arrested Tuesday afternoon by two Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies.
Marvin Flowers-Roscoe allegedly assisted James Fogle, known as “The Drugstore Cowboy,” in a January 2009 burglary of Hall’s Pharmacy. Roscoe was identified through DNA found at the scene. Investigators believe that Fogle and Roscoe locked themselves in the bathroom of a grocery store next door and sawed through the bathroom wall into the pharmacy.
Roscoe was arrested at a Spanaway house on 19th Avenue E, according to media reports. Deputies acting on a tip from Tacoma/Pierce County Crime Stoppers discovered Roscoe in the garage trying to crawl up into the attic. He told deputies he knew of the warrant for his arrest, but he was waiting to turn himself in until after he had surgery.
Fogle, Roscoe’s alleged partner, remains at large.
