A man suspected of robbing a pharmacy in Centralia last year was arrested Tuesday afternoon by two Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies.

Marvin Flowers-Roscoe allegedly assisted James Fogle, known as “The Drugstore Cowboy,” in a January 2009 burglary of Hall’s Pharmacy. Roscoe was identified through DNA found at the scene. Investigators believe that Fogle and Roscoe locked themselves in the bathroom of a grocery store next door and sawed through the bathroom wall into the pharmacy.

Roscoe was arrested at a Spanaway house on 19th Avenue E, according to media reports. Deputies acting on a tip from Tacoma/Pierce County Crime Stoppers discovered Roscoe in the garage trying to crawl up into the attic. He told deputies he knew of the warrant for his arrest, but he was waiting to turn himself in until after he had surgery.

Fogle, Roscoe’s alleged partner, remains at large.

  1. notta name says:

Jimmy Fogle was a man like no other he had dignity and morels that you just do not see in people these days he seemed like he had just stepped in from the long ago past ! Although he was a addict and stole from pharm he was a very trustworthy man that would be a loyal friend as anyone I ever knew ! He did risk his own life and well being holding on to something he had of mine until he could return it, knowing he would soon be arrested and in doing so he risked everything not wanting me to think of him as a theif and or a bad person! Since his passing I had met 2 people that both knew him from prison and both had been young 18 and i think 19 or 20 when the found them selves behind bars he saw they where going to end up dead or worse and saved there butts (pun intended) and help them survive by teaching them and showing them the ropes ! He was a great teacher and story teller a very wise and intelligent man! I will forever have fond thoughts of the time i spent with him and will miss and love him always ! Goodbye Pard hope to see you again somewhere some how when i to find i am dead !
