Lakewood police are searching for a man who robbed a pharmacy Sunday afternoon.

The armed robbery took place at the Rite Aid on 5700 100th St. SW, around 3:30 p.m. The man handed a pharmacy employee a note asking for Oxycontin pills and implied he had a weapon.  The employee gave the suspect a few bottles of the pills.

The bandit was described as a light-skinned male in his late 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a cap and gray hoodie with writing on the front.

The man was last seen running westbound on 100th Street SW.

The suspect ran westbound from the business……..containment was set-up, but no K-9 response so only an area check completed with negative results.
