Lacey firefighters quickly doused a fire at a home early today.

No injuries were reported.

Crews were called to the house in the 4300 block of 19th Avenue Southeast just after 1 a.m. today, Lacey Fire District 3 reported. Neighbors had called to report flames were on the outside of the house.

Firefighters found heavy flames coming from the back of the home when they arrived. The blaze was knocked down in less than 10 minutes, the department reported.

Investigators believe a compressor that had been left plugged in and was running intermittently caused the fire.

The blaze caused $60,000 damage. The family is not able to live in the house until cleanup and “significant repairs” are done, the fire department reported.
