One of three reputed Hilltop Crips gang members who’ve been sought in a sizable criminal conspiracy case has been arrested.
Tacoma police booked Cory T. Campbell, 22, into Pierce County Jail shortly before 8:30 p.m.
That leaves two people still on the loose in the case – Kerry T. Edwards and Errol B. Mayers. Warrants have been issued for their arrest.
Pierce County prosecutors have charged 32 men with conspiring to commit a series of violent crimes in Tacoma. All are members of the Hilltop Crips, prosecutors contend.
In addition to the conspiracy charge, Campbell has been charged with unlawful gun possession, driveby shooting and drug-related charges.
