There will be an auction tonight at an Auburn bar to raise money for the families of five law enforcement officers killed last year in Pierce County.

The auction is from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Sports Page Bar and Grill, 2802 Auburn Way N. The event will raise money for the families of Lakewood police Sgt. Mark Renninger and officers Tina Griswold, Ronald Owens and Greg Richards who were killed Nov. 29 at a Parkland coffee shop; and for the family of Pierce County sheriff’s deputy Kent Mundell, who was mortally wounded Dec. 21.

All proceeds for the event will go to the Lakewood Police Independent Guild and the Pierce County Sheriff’s department.
