Deputies investigate South Hill bank robbery

Pierce County sheriff’s deputies were responding to a bank robbery this afternoon on South Hill.

The robbery occurred at Chase Bank, 17404 Meridian. The robber implied a weapon, according to the police scanner.

The suspect was described as white, in his 20s and 5 feet 11. He wore a green jacket and blue jeans.
